An Exclusive Culinary Connect Activation with Sustainability Pioneers - Ars Italica, Italy

Heritage, premium curation and education converged at Beverly with the exclusive Ars Italica Caviar Initiative, a refined experience celebrating the artistry of sustainable caviar production. As part of Culinary Connect, this intimate gathering showcased the inspiring craftsmanship of John Giovannini, owner of Ars Italica, Europe’s largest sustainable caviar producer. With a deep reverence for heritage and ethical sourcing, the event offered guests a rare tasting of Naccari and White Sturgeon Tradition caviars, elegantly paired with Moët Champagne and Belvedere Vodka, including the coveted Belvedere 10.

Held on September 14th, the event provided an immersive experience, blending storytelling, curated pairings, and an appreciation for artisanal processes. Overlooking the Melbourne skyline, with sunlight filtering through, the scene was set for an elegant afternoon led by Italian caviar expert John Giovannini and hosted by Caviar Ambassador Lisa Downs and Beverly's Creative Director, Emily Gurr. Guests explored the rich history of caviar dating back to the Renaissance in 1471, departing not only with newfound knowledge but also with a gold caviar key and a mother-of-pearl spoon - a timeless keepsake of the occasion.

As one of only three farms globally certified by Friend of the Sea, Ars Italica is dedicated to preserving endangered sturgeon species while upholding the highest standards of quality and sustainability. This commitment resonates with Beverly’s ethos, seamlessly aligning with a vision that champions authenticity, craftsmanship, and community-driven experiences.

“Caviar in Italy has a long, rich history dating back to the height of the Renaissance. From the rarefied halls of European aristocracy to the exclusive digs of today's celebrity influencers, caviar says as much about the refined tastes of those who serve it as it does about the grace to which they treat their guests.”

– John Giovannini, Director of Sales, Ars Italica Caviar, Ital

“We are proud to be the exclusive supplier of Ars Italica caviar. I have worked with John and his family for 12 years - he is my mentor and has taught me most of what I know. I have been fortunate to travel to Italy and see firsthand the love and dedication that goes into producing the best caviar in Europe.”

– Lisa Downs, Caviar Ambassador

Beyond the exclusive tasting event, our community had the opportunity to indulge in a limited-time offering of these rare, hand-harvested caviars, available at Beverly from September 14th to 22nd. The initiative underscored our commitment to delivering premium, value-driven experiences that invited our community to engage with culinary heritage in an intimate, elevated setting.

"At Beverly, we challenge the expected and create full sensory experiences driven by genuine passion, education, and forward-thinking storytelling. Our partnerships are curated to inspire and connect, allowing our community to indulge in soulful, value-added offerings.”

– Emily Gurr, Beverly Director of Creative & Strategic Partnerships
